Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Krista Hooper graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Hooper participated in a rotating internship in small animal and emergency medicine just outside of Washington DC. She moved to California in 2006 and worked in a small animal practice in the Newport Beach area for several years. Dr. Hooper relocated to the central coast after getting married in 2011. She lives with her husband (a fireman with Kern County) in Pismo Beach. In her free time, she loves spending time with her new daughter and her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Crosby, enjoying the beautiful central coast. Her passions are emergency medicine, nutrition, pain management and control, and dentistry.
