Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katie C. Kennedy comes to San Francisco from Colorado State University where she most recently completed a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the CSU Flint Animal Cancer Center. She also received her Bachelor's degree and her DVM from Colorado State before she completed a Residency in Small Animal Surgery at the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kennedy's clinical interests include orthopedics, surgical oncology, minimally invasive surgery andstemcelltherapies.When she's not working Katie loves spending time with her husband, David, and their dog, Kanzi. She's also a big fan of the outdoors, particularly hiking and climbing,although she might have to travel outside of the Bay Area to pursue her hobby of ice climbing!
