Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Schwach received his BS and DVM degrees from Michigan State University in 1974. After completing a one-year internship in a small animal group practice, he began his surgical residency at Colorado State University. While at CSU, he completed his orthopedic and general surgical residency and also earned an MS degree in surgery. He became board-qualified for the American College of Veterinary Surgery in 1977. Dr. Schwach joined Avenues Pet Hospital in August 1977 and became business partners with Dr. Anderson in 1983. He is a member of the AVMA and SFVMA.
