Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Anderson grew up in Alabama with the constant companionship of cats, dogs, birds, frogs, and turtles. She studied zoology in Auburn University's Honors Program before graduating from the University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. While there she worked with birds of prey at the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center and was active in the Animal Welfare Action Committee performing exams and treatments for shelter animals. After graduation she moved to California with her two cats Blinky and Switch and joined Avenues Pet Hospital in 2005. Her professional interests include pain management and dentistry, and in her free time she enjoys skating, drawing, and sewing. She is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, and SFVMA.
