Veterinarian Overview
I was born and raised in Los Angeles in a house that was always full of animals (cats, dogs, hamsters, chickens, birds, and many others). The special bond I had with each of my pets motivated me to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I received my bachelors degree from UC Berkeley, then worked as a veterinary assistant at a general practice and at an emergency clinic in the Bay Area for two years. I received my DVM degree from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine where I focused on small animal medicine. I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but am especially interested in behavioral medicine, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. I am passionate about building close relationships with my furry patients and their families as well as providing information to help pet owners make the most informed decisions for their pets. I am Fear Free certified and strive to make my patients feel as comfortable as possible during their appointments. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, traveling, weight lifting, and entertaining my Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue.
