Veterinarian Overview
I grew up in Southern California, loving animals and deciding as a child that I wanted to become a veterinarian. I followed many others in the family to college at UC Berkeley, during which time I fell in love with the Bay Area and realized there is no better place to live. I went on to veterinary school at UC Davis, graduating in 1996. I've been working in small animal private practice ever since, with a little diversion to Portland, Oregon and Champaign, Illinois before I returned home to the Bay Area in 2005. I enjoy all aspects of internal medicine, and am especially passionate about client education and preventive medicine. I live in San Francisco, and I like to spend my free time exploring the city, traveling, reading and hanging out with fellow Francophiles. Most of all I enjoy spending time with friends and family, including my cats Pia and Tiger.
