Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mendez has over 10 years of veterinary experience with dogs, cats, and exotics with a special interest in small mammals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets. Dr. Mendezs interest in animals goes back to when he was a teenager working at El Cajon Animal Control and San Diego Humane Society. His passion for animals lead him to obtain his bachelors in animal science at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo before going abroad to attend the University of Glasgow, Scotland School of Veterinary Medicine.
