Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Keiss has been a part of Pacific Beach Veterinary clinic for over 30 years! She began her career in veterinary medicine here as a veterinary technician in 1977. After falling in love with the idea of providing compassionate and loving care to peoples companions, Dr. Keiss pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. From there she proceeded to do a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery internship at Texas A & M from 1986-1987. After completing her internship, Dr. Keiss returned to Pacific Beach Veterinary Clinic. She has been providing tender loving care to our furred and feathered patients ever since. She is a certified PENN-Hip veterinarian, with an interest in surgery and high quality veterinary medicine. She is actively involved in the local Labrador Retriever Club and enjoys training and showing her own dogs (three Labradors and a Briard!). When not at the clinic, Dr. Keiss enjoys spending time with her pets, relaxing in her garden and traveling.
