Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Heidi Denenholz joins our practice as a 2015 graduate from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She recently completed a 1 year rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Pet Specialists of Monterey in Del Rey Oaks. While Dr. Denenholz loves all animals, she is most interested in canine and feline medicine, with particular interests in Dermatology and Oncology. During veterinary school, Dr. Denenholz was the vice president of International Veterinary Outreach, a 501(c) non-profit organization started by UC Davis veterinary students to provide free clinics twice a year to animals in rural Nicaragua. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Denenholz graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2009, with a dual degree in Organismal Biology and Spanish. In her free time, Dr. Denenholz enjoys volunteering, reading, traveling, and speaking Spanish. Originally from Pasadena, CA, she now lives in Monterey with her two cats, Ringo and Kai. She is very excited to explore the Monterey Bay area and to care for your pets at Toro Park Animal Hospital!
