Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Adam Schawel is a Northern California native and graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Occidental College and then a Masters degree in Chemistry at UC Berkeley. Before vet school, Adam performed biochemistry research and worked at a shelter and also as a vet tech. He loves working with cats, dogs and their families. Some of his interests are preventative medicine, dentistry, infectious diseases and emergency care. Adam lives in Davis with his wife and daughter. Their Chihuahua mix Rona always makes them smile. Together they enjoy exploring the outdoors, biking and cooking
