Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Terence Krentz received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona (2008). A Northern California native, he first completed his undergraduate studies at UC Santa Cruz. Following veterinary school, Dr. Krentz completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists before moving to the east coast to complete a surgery internship at VetCision in Waltham, Massachusetts. Dr. Krentz stayed in the Bay State to complete a 3-year residency in Emergency & Critical Care at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital. He joined SAGE in 2016. Dr. Krentz enjoys the diversity of cases he sees in emergency medicine. Within critical care, he has a particular interest in treating sepsis and polytrauma. When outside of the hospital, Terence enjoys hiking and snowboarding. Hes the proud owner of two cats and expects that a dog will be joining the family before too long.
