Veterinarian Overview
Heidi Fink, DVM, MS, DACVIM started her veterinary career as a technician in Santa Barbara. She attended UC Santa Barbara and received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, and then moved to San Diego where she spent a year working at an animal emergency clinic. Soon after, she moved to Colorado to attend Colorado State University, where she worked as a critical care technician while earning her DVM. Following veterinary school, Dr. Fink completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center. During this internship, she helped patients in the Emergency/Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and Surgery departments.
