Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sisca Harya received her bachelors degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University in 2013. After veterinary school, she worked as a small animal general practitioner for one year in Auburn, NY. Dr. Harya then completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island, where she enjoyed the challenges and diversity of emergency medicine and critical care so much that she decided to become an emergency clinician. Dr. Harya is particularly interested in toxicology emergencies, trauma, and endocrine and immune-mediated diseasesIn her free time, Sisca enjoys exploring the outdoors with her rambunctious 3-year-old mixed-breed dog, Luca, who she adopted during veterinary school. She also loves salsa dancing, enjoying live music, gardening, and traveling
