Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katherine Gilman recently moved to Rolling Hills Estates and is looking forward to working closer to home. She enjoys internal medicine and surgery on cats and dogs, as well as rabbits and other small mammals. She is married and has two young children, Kaileyand JackDr. Gilman was raised in northern California and completed her bachelors degree in biology at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.Following veterinary school, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Before coming to Point Vicente, Dr. Gilman worked at Bay Animal Hospital in Manhattan Beach. Outside the hospital, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, reading and spending time with her family. Of course, she loves all of her pets; her dogs Pubby and Ella, the cats Tabby, Jingle, Kingsley and Rosie and her sons reptiles.
