Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kathy Henderson joined the staff of ARPH the spring of Kathy and Robbie1998.She comes to us from St. Louis where she was working as an associate at a multi-doctor small animal practice. Dr. Henderson graduated from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has an enthusiastic interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine with special interests in dentistry, pediatric and geriatric medicine and behavior. In addition to her excellent clinical skills, Dr. Henderson is also a great manager. She has been doing a wonderful job managing the hospital since 2001. Dr. Henderson lives in Alta Loma with her pets; Envy Rose (long coated Akita), and Peregrin (Turkish Van kitty) and Kevin (Ragdoll). She has an avid interest in dressage and practices her skills at a local barn. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, traveling and showing her dog; Envy who has recently been awarded AKC Rally-Advanced Excellent Title. Interesting fact: Envy Rose is only the 6th Akita to ever get this award!
