Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Amanda Perry is a native of San Diego. She attended Valhalla High School and San Diego State University before attending UC Davis for veterinary school. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1994 with recognition for academic achievement. Since graduation, she has worked in diverse communities such as Brawley in the Imperial Valley, downtown San Diego, and Oklahoma City. Her husband, Dr. Lance Gibson, is also a veterinarian. They met many years ago working at a veterinary hospital in El Cajon before they went to veterinary school. Dr. Perry practices general medicine, but has special interest in surgery, dental care, and dermatology. She enjoys teaming with her clients to give their pets longevity and the best quality of life. Outside of work, Dr. Perry and her husband have lots of fun with their two boys, Jack and Henry, camping, traveling, or just doing projects around their small ranch. They have a horse, two large dogs, and chickens. Recently, Dr. Perry's horse, Xena, won a mare performance test at Creek Hollow Ranch here in Ramona.
