Veterinarian Overview
Krista graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Hooper participated in a rotating internship in small animal and emergency medicine just outside of Washington DC. She moved to California in 2006 and worked in a small animal practice in the Newport Beach area for several years. Dr. Hooper relocated to the central coast after getting married in 2011.In her free time, Krista loves hanging out with her husband (a firefighter for Kern County), her daughter (3yrs old), her son (1.5yrs old), and her Rhodesian Ridgeback. She loves swimming, hiking, and getting out and exploring the central coast. Dr. HooperÂ’s passions are emergency medicine, nutrition, pain management, dentistry, and teaching.
