Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dodd grew up in central Illninois and graduated from the University of Illinois in 2000. After vet school, she moved to the Chicago suburbs and practiced there for 16 years, where she cultivated her passion for surgery, dentistry, management of chronic disease, and for long term relationships with her clients. She still has contact with some of her very first clients! She has been adopted into many families and attended birthday parties and weddings over the years. Dr. Dodd also worked with several rescue organizations while she was in Chicago, and looks forward to working with SPOT Rescue at FMVH. She enjoyed following pets from the shelters into their forever homes with new loving families. Dr. Dodd has attended advanced training in dentistry and soft tissue surgery. During one of her training sessions, she made a trip to California for the first time. She fell in love with Southern California and two years later she and her husband moved to California. When not with her patients, Dr. Dodd enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband and their French bulldog Homer.
