Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cayton is an East Bay native. She graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont and returned to California to receive her veterinary degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson in Arizona. She also completed the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine program in Florida to become certified in acupuncture. Dr. Cayton strives to maintain a balanced life and in her free time enjoys snow sports, trivia, and spending time with her fiancé, Michael. Her family is completed by their two fluffy cats Mishka and Bogie, and their socially-awkward but very sweet faithful dog Lyla. Dr. Cayton is excited to join such accomplished doctors as well as the hard working team at Montclair Veterinary Hospital.
