Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Aramburu was born in Argentina and raised in Florence, Alabama. He attended The Ohio State University, where he received his BS in zoology. He then earned his DVM in 1999 at Purdue Universitys School of Veterinary Medicine, a prestigious and rigorous program. Since that time, Dr. Aramburu has been in private practice in Illinois, Texas, and Tennessee, finally settling in Southern California. While in Texas, he focused on small animal emergency and critical care. Dr. Aramburu is interested in a wide variety of specialties, particularly Surgery, Geriatrics, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Aramburu is happily married to his college sweetheart, Mercedes, who is an OB/Gyn. They have three children, Nicolas and the twins, Antonio and Sofia. Their geriatric rescue pets, Hooper, a shepherd mix, and Bubba, an English Bulldog, are also an important part of the family. When not caring for animals, Dr. Aramburu enjoys spending time with his family, eating haute cuisine, watches, cars, and traveling.
