Veterinarian Overview
I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Rosemead, and attended Mark Keppel High School. At 17 years of age, I started my first job in a veterinary hospital and eventually became a licensed veterinary technician. I earned my Bachelor's degree at California State University, Los Angeles in 1985. I worked in the clinical laboratory at Centinela Hospital as a Liscenced Laboratory Technologist during breaks from school. I went on to graduate from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California at Davis in 1990.I met my husband David in 1983, when we became coworkers at Companion Animal Hospital in Temple City. Prior to opening my own practice, I worked in Monrovia for seven years and in Glendale for eleven. My practice is limited to dogs and cats, which I find both challenging and fun.In 1991, my husband and I purchased our home in Monrovia. After 17 years of living here, we decided to open Family Dog and Cat Hospital in Old Town Monrovia. We are very happy to be working together in our wonderful community. I have three sons, one a graduate of Monrovia High, where the other two currently attend. Our family belongs to Immaculate Conception parish.Family Dog and Cat Hospital is truly a family business. All three of my sons helped us during the hospital's launch, and have worked here ever since. Our family also includes three mischevious cats - Saber, Luna, and Nefertiti - and a freckled dog named Hermione.
