Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tejinderpreet (Tej) Nagra graduated from College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Punjab Agricultural University in India. He wanted to pursue his career in USA and moved to Sonoma County. He then attended the College of Veterinary Science at Purdue University in Indiana. He completed the Clinical year at Purdue in the year 2001 and obtained his DVM licenses in the states of California and Nevada. He has worked as a licensed veterinarian in Sonoma County, California, since 2001. Initially, he started working at Pet Care 24 Hour Emergency Hospital, in Santa Rosa. After two years he moved on to the daytime practice. He has worked as a full time, part time and a relief/ locum veterinarian at multiple hospitals in and around Marin County. He enjoys working with dogs and cats and loves the interaction with the clients. He also works at the Mendocino County Animal shelter one to two days a month to help spay and neuter the shelter animals for adoptions. When he is not working, he enjoys his time with his wife, son and daughter and a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog named Lily. His family adopted Lily from the Humane Society when she was only 2.5 lbs and now she has grown into a cutest little 10 lb bundle of love. Dr. Nagra also enjoys traveling and camping with his family and friends.
