Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cynthia Quezada grew up in the Los Angeles South Bay Area. She graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, in 2000 with a B.S. degree in biology. From there, she went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2004 from theUniversity of California, Davis. She also completed a surgical and emergency medicine internship at Animal Specialty and Emergency Center (ASEC) in West Los Angeles. Before starting West LA Veterinary Group with her business partner and friend, Dr. Connie Kim, she had been previously working in general practice as well as in emergency medicine.Dr. QuezadaÂ’s professional interests include working with local animal rescue organizations, feline medicine, and geriatric medicine. She is alsoinvolved in youth outreach programs, where she helps teach under represented youth about veterinary medicine. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends. She has three rescue cats: Ramon, Julius, and Olivia. She has made Los Angeles her home.
