Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Joanna Choi hails all the way from Manhasset, NY, a small town on Long Island, close to New York City. She attended Wellesley College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience. Before veterinary school, she performed Parkinson's disease research, worked with a local small animal veterinarian, and worked at the New York Aquarium. Dr. Choi received her veterinary degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Her interests include surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, preventative medicine, and exotics. Dr. Choi enjoys spending time with her energetic Jack Russell Terrier named Maya, traveling, baking, outdoor activities, and discovering the beautiful state of California.
