Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Damian Levisman came all across the continent from Argentina to California 8 years ago. He was born in the city of Santa Fe, and move at the age of 5 to Buenos Aires. He spent his holidays and vacations as a child and teenager surrounded by animals--from dogs and cats to horses, chickens, pigs and cows--while visiting his grandparents farm. Finishing high school with a degree in Chemical Technician, he later became a Veterinarian after graduating from the School Of Veterinary Medicine at the University Of Buenos Aires in 2004, while working as a researcher and Chemical technician at the Laboratory of Oxygen Metabolism, a basic science research lab from the same University. He also worked as a general practitioner and performed emergency surgeries in several veterinary clinics throughout the city of Buenos Aires.Due to Dr. Werber s generosity, he was able to apply 3 years in a row for an immigrant Visa that allowed him to work in the USA. Eventually he obtained a Visa and moved to Los Angeles to start what would ended up being a 5 year period of tech work at Century Veterinary Group. In the meantime, under Dr. Werbers supervision, Dr. Levisman built up a strong repertoire in the field, performing all kind of procedures. While doing this, he was able to study, take, and pass several long and hard exams in order to become a fully licensed California Veterinarian. Right before getting his DVM degree, he met his other half, Valeria, whom later became his wife. She was only a year away to become a Psychologist in Argentina, thus together they decided to head back south for 3 years, in order to fulfill Valerias goal and waiting to receive a full American Permanent Residency (Green Card). Which happened in August 2015. In his free times he loves to spend time with his wife, their chubby cat, Panda, get together with friends, attend to concerts (he loves heavy metal and 80s tunes) and watch movies. He is an avid soccer and paddle tennis player. Among his hobbies he definitely considers himself a computer geek for fixing computers and all kind of mechanical devices.
