Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Abrams grew up in southwestern Connecticut and attended college in Virginia. He completed his doctorate in veterinary medicine at Iowa State University and following graduation he pursued a rotating internship at Alameda East in Denver, CO. Since his internship he had been working as a general practitioner in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Abrams is very excited to be a part of the team at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Center! His interests within veterinary medicine include: trauma, infectious diseases, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and metabolic illness. Outside of the hospital Dr. Abrams enjoys spending time with his family, pets and friends, cooking, mountain biking, climbing and carpentry.
