Veterinarian Overview
Ashley DeAtley is originally from a small town in northern Kentucky. For the past 8 years she has been living in Alabama where she received her bachelors degree in Animal Science through the College of Agriculture and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine through the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. Throughout her undergraduate years, Dr. DeAtley worked as a veterinary and research assistant, and once in veterinary school she began working as a university tour guide and an anatomy lab assistant. After graduation, she packed up her house and moved to California to start her career practicing veterinary medicine. Within the veterinary field, her key interests lie in feline medicine, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and preventative medicine. Dr. DeAtley enjoys to travel and hopes to see more of the world in the coming years. Most recently, she traveled to the country of Mongolia with a team from V.E.T Net to teach English to children and provide medical care to animals in the Mongolian countryside.
