Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rachel Kuester began working in veterinary medicine as an assistant over 15 years ago, and knew immediately that this was the field for her. Working with animals ignited a passion that eventually led to an exciting educational journey, with experiences inSouth Africa, St. Kitts, Costa Rica and Ohio.he practiced in Wilmington, North Carolina, and Baltimore, Maryland before joining us at Four Seasons Animal Hospital.Dr. Kuester's philosophy as a veterinarian is simple: She feels strongly that it is her job to nurture the human-animal bond through education and medicine. She has a keen interest in animal behavior techniques and low-stress handling to reduce stress and anxiety for her patients. Her goal is to make every patient feel relaxed and happy, and every client comfortable and educated about the needs and best care for their companion.Rachel lives with her two kitties, Edgar and Louise, and her dog Mabel. She enjoys playing the guitar, reading, making pottery and spending time with her niece and nephew.
