Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Vasseur has been an orthopedic consultant for Hanford Veterinary Hospital since 1998. Dr. Vasseur is a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and was a member of the faculty at the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine for more than 20 years. Additionally, Dr. Vasseur was the Chief of Orthopedics for the program for a number of years and published more than 58 scientific papers on the subject of canine orthopedics. He has also authored numerous book chapters and was the section editor for Orthopedics in a major veterinary surgery textbook. He served as Editor-in-Chief of Veterinary Surgery (the official journal of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons) for 11 years.
