Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Yashar was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended UCLA for undergraduate school, where she obtained a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. Afterwards, she moved to Northern California and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. More recently, she moved back to Los Angeles and completed a rigorous small animal rotating internship at VCA Animal Specialty & Emergency Center. Now, she is very excited to provide care for dogs, cats, and rabbits here at Arden. Dr. Yashar chose a career in veterinary medicine because it was the perfect way to combine her passion for animals, desire to help other people, and enthusiasm for problem solving. She has three cockatiels as part of her family: Charlie, Coconut, and Lychee. In her free time, Dr. Yashar enjoys baking sweets, spending time with her birds, and traveling. She especially loves spotting wildlife while hiking or snorkeling!
