Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Huston is proud to partner with Waterhouse Animal Hospital since 2008 to help provide veterinary cardiology services in Fresno. After earning her DVM from Michigan State University in 1998, Dr. Huston spent the next four years pursing advanced training at the Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York, the largest private practice veterinary hospital and research center in the U.S. While at the AMC, she completed a 1-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery, which was followed by a three-year residency in veterinary cardiology. After becoming board-certified in veterinary cardiology (2002), Dr. Huston practiced in New York City and was also an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Huston returned to California and founded San Diego Veterinary Cardiology in 2008.
