Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Anita Lara. I'm happy to be part of the team at the Cat Clinic of Folsom where I can pursue my passion, helping people care for the cats they love. Since the second grade I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. Following graduation from Fresno State (Go Bulldogs!) and UC Davis Veterinary School, I started in small animal practice on the Monterey Peninsula. After moving to the Sacramento area in 2002, I've been in exclusively feline practice. I also take care of my own two cats - Sesame and Emmy - who love to help me in the garden. Away from work, I spend my time with family and friends while traveling, crafting and watching classic films.
