Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katie Wolf is a graduate of UC Davis and was a registered veterinary technician for 10+ years prior to completing vet school. Dr. Katie Wolf holds a BS degree in Biology/Zoology from San Francisco State University and completed coursework for her Masters degree in Biology/Genetics at CSU, Dominguez Hills.Dr. Wolf previously worked at Blue Ravine Animal Hospital for over 2 years before heading overseas for a year to work in Thailand, Laos, and Nepal with nonprofit groups to address rabies and street dog population control. She is very excited to be back in general practice, reconnecting with old patients and meeting new ones!Her veterinary interests include the special needs of brachycephalic breeds such as bulldogs, working with rescue groups, ophthalmology, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and the concept of One Health (where animal, human, and environmental health intersect).Dr. Wolf is originally from Pennsylvania but has called 6 US states, Hong Kong, and Japan home over the years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, satisfying her wanderlust by traveling to obscure corners of the world, street dog medicine, international veterinary volunteer work, yoga, and asian cooking. She is a bulldog enthusiast and is the proud owner of an English bulldog named Coco and an American bullnese named Bodhi.
