Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Scharlet Kelly joined the VCA Acacia Animal Hospital Team in 2006 as a Customer Service Representative and rejoined in 2019 as a Veterinarian. With her education as a large and small animal veterinary student at Oklahoma State University, and her rigorous training as rotating small animal internal medicine, surgery and emergency intern at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego, Dr. Kelly brings a wide variety of interests and experiences to the VCA team. Her main areas of interest are exotic medicine, dermatology, internal medicine and surgery. In addition to the critters she cares for at VCA Acacia Dr. Kelly also manages a house full of critters, including her three small children, and her pets, Lui and Lantana.
