Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kevin Baker has been in the veterinary field since 2006. From kennel worker, groomer, research assistant, technician to doctorÂ… he has explored nearly every facet of veterinary practice. Dr. Baker attended UCLA and received his bachelors degree in biology. After working as a doctor's assistant for a veterinary internist for a year, he went on to attend UC Davis to earn his veterinary degree. During Veterinary school Dr. Baker was actively involved with helping pets of the homeless through the Mercer Clinic Organization. After graduating he completed a one year small animal emergency focused internship in San Diego. Dr. Baker has special interests in wellness/preventative care, surgery, cardiology and emergency medicine. During his free time he enjoys snowboarding, surfing, hiking, backpacking and spending time with his dog Hendrix.
