Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nadia Rifat earned her B.S. in microbiology from Purdue University and her D.V.M. at UC Davis. She then completed a postdoctoral internship at East Bay Veterinary Specialists in Walnut Creek, obtaining additional training in surgery, emergency care, internal medicine, ultrasound, and dentistry. She has worked in private practice in the East Bay since, and is excited to have joined the Animal Care Clinic team. Her professional interests include preventive care, geriatric care, dentistry and surgery. Dr. Rifat currently lives in Berkeley with her rescue Border Collie, Otto. During her free time, you can find her outdoors, partaking in activities such as trail running, rock climbing, backpacking, scuba diving, and skiing.
