Veterinarian Overview
After receiving a Bachelors and Masters degree in Animal Sciences from The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Vinson joined her husband in the Gulf Coast of Texas where she graduated with her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 1990. A varied practice career began with mixed practice, emergency, wildlife rehabilitation and practice ownership with a special interest in avian/exotic animals. When her husband Tom, originally a Corning, CA native, decided to retire they returned to Northern California - bringing one of their sons and both of the cats. She is a grandmother who loves basset hounds, hiking, cooking, fishing and koi ponds. She is glad to have found a niche in the family here at Valley Oak.
