Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Solomon was born and raised in northern New Jersey. She graduated with a degree in Animal Science from Cornell University and received her DVM from Kansas State University, where she fell in love with cardiology. She did her rotating small animal internship at Oregon State University and her residency in Cardiology at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, subspecialty Cardiology. Dr. Solomon has published in the areas of nutrition, interventional cardiology, large animal cardiology and echocardiography. Following her residency, Jessica founded the cardiology services of a large specialty and emergency hospital in New York City, along with its satellite offices in Queens and Brooklyn. Dr. Solomon currently practices full-time with the telemedicine service of Idexx Laboratories and sees cases at United Veterinary Specialty & Emergency hospitals on a case-by-case basis. Jessica lives in the Bay Area with her husband, two dogs, and cat.
