Veterinarian Overview
Dr. MacKinnon graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine with the President?s Award as the outstanding graduate of her class. In 1996, she completed the IVAS acupuncture course and began her journey into holistic veterinary medicine. In 2002, Dr. MacKinnon completed the Options for Animals animal chiropractic course and five years later completed the University of Tennessee rehabilitation course. In 2015, Dr. MacKinnon was certified by the Chi Institute as a Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine Practitioner. Her hobbies are playing music with friends and riding her Quarter Horse, Tucker, on the 7000-acre ranch where he boards.
