Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ryan Machowski joins the VCA Benicia team as Veterinarian and Medical Director after practicing with VCA Canada for 7 years where he found a passion for client-centered medicine. Dr. Ryan graduated from the University of Waterloo with his Bachelor of Science in 2004. Shortly after, he entered the Ontario Veterinary College and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. Ryan is passionate about companion animal medicine and has focused much of his training on advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Ryan along with his wife Melissa, their two children, Avery and Audrey and their two cats, Martin and Lewis are excited to make California their new home. When not working, Dr. Ryan enjoys keeping active through running and cycling, playing the drums and keeping up with the latest trends in veterinary medicine.
