Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jessica Venable has been working with Tatum Point since April, 2015. She was born and raised in Phoenix and attended Central High School. She received her Bachelors degree in Physics from Claremont McKenna College in 2004 and her veterinary degree and acupuncture certification from Colorado State University in 2009. After graduating from veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson. Since that time, she has worked as a small animal veterinarian as well as acupuncturist and she has found that combining the more traditional western medicine approach with acupuncture provides a better whole body approach to the treatment of many conditions. In 2014, Dr. Jessica Venable also added in physical rehabilitation certification (similar to physical therapy in people) to her toolbox to help treat dogs with mobility disorders as well as help patients recover more fully from orthopedic surgeries.In her spare time, Dr. Jessica Venable enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She currently lives with her three canine fur babies Katrina, Dreyfus, and Cookie.
