Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Diltz joined Palisades Veterinary Hospital in 2008 after working as an associate veterinarian at Anasazi Animal Clinic in Gilbert, Ariz. Dr. Diltz grew up in southern California and western Washington state before attending Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she obtained a B.S. in Animal Science. She then returned to her west coast roots, completing her DVM at Washington State University. There, she was a member of the Phi Zeta National Veterinary Honor Society and also volunteered in a local spay/neuter program. An animal enthusiast for as long as she remember, Dr. Diltz is passionate about feline and canine medicine, constantly seeking professional development opportunities to expand her knowledge in those areas. She is also an advocate for population control through spay/neuter programs to reduce the number of unwanted pets. To keep her finger on the pulse of veterinary medicine, Dr. Diltz is an active member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association (AzVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Dr. Diltz shares her home with five cuddly cats and a friendly Akita/Lab cross named Raiden. When not seeing patients or spending time with her own furry friends, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, visiting family and relaxing with a good book.
