Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Aimee Beger is originally from a small town just north of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an only child, she spent much of her time with her four-legged siblings. The close bond that she shared with them gave her insight and an understanding of how pets are an integral part of the family. After high school she moved to Arizona, escaping the sub-zero winters, to attend Arizona State University. She graduated in 1993 from Arizona State University, earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science. With a degree in French and a second in Recreation Management, Dr. Beger worked as an interpreter and a meeting planner in Scottsdale, before deciding to go back to college to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She obtained her medical degree from Washington State University in 2003 and returned to Arizona to work as a small animal practitioner. She has worked in the Valley of the Sun for over 12 years. Dr. Begers favorite part of being your veterinarian is helping to strengthen the bond between you and your pets, as well as preserving their quality of life. She feels communication and education about a pets specific needs are crucial in achieving these goals. She is very willing to listen to client concerns and to work with you to ensure a healthy, happy lifestyle for your pets. Her professional interests include Feline Medicine, Preventative Medicine, Dermatology with an emphasis on Allergies, and Arthritis Management. Dr. Beger is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. Her personal interests include: movies, traveling, hiking, and antiquing. Dr. Beger is a sushi connoisseur and recently joined a running group and is training for 5ks! She currently shares her home with her five boys: Pilot the Schnoodle, and her four cats: Charlie, Little Mister, Tootsie and Sully
