Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Colin Jeschke is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland in 1981. He then attended the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where he obtained his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He worked with a mixed animal practice in the south of England for about 6 months prior to returning to the U.S. He has been practicing veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania since 1987. He was employed by Dalton Veterinary Associates until 1999. In June of that year he founded Abington Veterinary Center, and has been here ever since.Dr. Jeschke currently serves on the board of the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. He is also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, and the Northeast Veterinary Medical Association. He also has an interest in veterinary ophthalmology.Dr. Jeschke resides in Clarks Summit with his wife Nancy, and his two daughters, Victoria and Emily. Dr. Jeschke has 12 cats, and a Golden Retriever named Lexi. In his spare time he sings with three different organizations.
