Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ryan Thatcher was born and raised in Salt Lake City. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Utah, and then went on to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Upon graduation he returned to Utah to begin his career in mixed animal practice. His experience providing care for multiple species revealed his passion for working with cats and dogs. Dr. Thatcher enjoys all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine and has developed a special interest in surgery. Outside of practice, he enjoys spending time traveling, camping, and hiking with his wife (also a veterinarian) and their two dogs.
