Veterinarian Overview
Justin Burgin, DVM, cVMA joined Animal Healthcare Clinic in 2014. He received his bachelor of science degree in Animal Science from Texas Tech University before graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. Burgin completed his certification in veterinary acupuncture through the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course in Ft. Collins, CO in 2014. This course appealed to Dr. Burgin due to the focus being on the scientific principles of acupuncture and how to incorporate them into western veterinary medicine. He enjoys the results he has seen using acupuncture in dogs, cats and horses and being able to improve his patientÂ’s quality of life by helping with pain and mobility issues. Dr. Burgin likes to spend his free time with his wife Beth, son Joshua and their Golden Retrievers, Molly and Macey
