Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rajan being born in India had an innate reverence towards cows and other livestock. He clearly understood the human-animal bond and interdependence which motivated him to pursue his studies in Veterinary Science in 1989. After graduating in 1995, Dr. Rajan started his own mixed animal practice in Chennai, India. Within a short period, the client volume multiplied exponentially, enhancing his medical, surgical and handling skills. After his graduation in 2005, he worked for major organizations like Banfield, Houston SPCA, and SNAP. He found his real passion in performing high-volume spay and neuter surgeries in the shelter. He went to work for Spay Houston and Abandoned Animal Rescue. Dr. Rajan found his lifes purpose in performing high-volume sterilization surgeries which would ultimately prevent euthanasia due to pet over-population.
