Veterinarian Overview
Dr. McNelis-Johnson received her B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Delaware in 2000. In 2005, she graduated and received her VMD from the University Pennsylvania. Dr. McNelis completed a Small Animal Internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in 2006 and had been practicing the last 8 years in a 24 hr emergency and general practice in Montgomery County, PA.Her professional interests include internal medicine and emergency/critical care. Her career objectives are to provide high quality medicine, compassion for the family and the patient, and to nurture the human-animal bond.Outside of work, Dr. McNelis-Johnson is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles and the Phillies. She enjoys the beach, reading, traveling, movies, and spending time with her friends and family. She lives with her husband, their cat Howie and rescue pit bull mix, Charlie. Dr. McNelis-Johnson was raised in Chester County and grew up locally in Landenberg. She is very excited to be back in the area with her family.
