Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Peetz is the owner of Companion Pet Clinic of NE Portland. He grew up on a ranch in rural Oregon near the small community of Tygh Valley. His compassion for animals took him to Washington State University where he graduated with his DVM in 1970. He chose to devote his career exclusively to small animals, the care of wildlife and animal welfare issues. Dr. Peetz lives in Portland with his wife, and his cat, Sampson. He serves on the Board of Directors for Dove Lewis IC Emergency Animal Hospital, as well as, the Leadership Council of the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, and Portland Veterinary Medical Association
