Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Galbreath received her veterinary degree from the University of California, Davis. Following veterinary school, she completed a one year rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists. She has remained at NWVS as an associate emergency/critical care veterinarian since that time.Dr. Galbreath's special interests in emergency medicine include infectious diseases and hematologic emergencies. Dr. Galbreath has additional training in high-quality/high-volume spay/neuter techniques, and enjoys assisting stray and shelter pet populations in her community.When not at NWVS, Dr. Galbreath enjoys running, reading, road-tripping, watching the Portland Trailblazers, and throwing the tennis ball for her energetic black Labrador, Sadie.
